recall Policy

At Graham Feed, the safety and quality of the products we sell—whether for pets, livestock, or farm operations—are our top priorities. We take every precaution to ensure our products meet strict quality standards. If a product we sell is found to be unsafe, defective, or otherwise unfit for its intended use, we will act quickly to protect our customers, animals, and community through an official recall process.

Scope

This policy applies to all Graham Feed products sold in-store and online. It covers both pet food and farm feed products that:

  • Have been found to be contaminated (bacterial, chemical, or foreign material).

  • Contain incorrect labeling or ingredient information.

  • Are defective or unsafe for animals.

  • Are subject to a manufacturer, supplier, or regulatory recall.

How We Handle Recalls

  • Issue Identification
If a potential issue is reported—whether through a supplier, customer, internal inspection, or government agency—our quality and operations teams will investigate immediately and determine next steps.

  • Recall Decision
When a recall is necessary, Graham Feed will work directly with the supplier, manufacturer, and appropriate regulatory agencies to identify affected products, remove them from sale, and communicate clearly with customers.

  • Customer Notification
We will notify customers as quickly as possible using multiple methods, including email, website announcements, in-store signage, and social media updates. Each notice will include:

    • Product name and description

    • Lot number(s) or “best by” date(s) affected

    • Description of the issue

    • Instructions for customers on what to do next

  • Product Returns and Refunds
Customers should immediately stop feeding or using the affected product. We will provide specific instructions for returning or safely disposing of the recalled product. Refunds, store credits, or exchanges will be available depending on the situation and purchase method.

  • Sanitation and Animal Safety
If contamination is suspected, customers will be advised to clean any feed bins, scoops, feeders, or bowls that may have come into contact with the product. If animals show any signs of illness, we recommend contacting a veterinarian right away.

  • Distribution and Retail Response
Graham Feed will remove the affected product from all retail locations and online listings. Distributors and commercial buyers will be notified directly to prevent further distribution.

  • Recordkeeping and Traceability
We maintain detailed supplier and inventory records, including lot numbers and batch data, allowing us to identify affected products and notify impacted customers promptly.

  • Post-Recall Review
After each recall event, Graham Feed will review the cause and response to strengthen our safety protocols and supplier oversight. Our goal is to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future.

customer Responsibilities

If you believe you purchased a recalled product:

  • Stop using the product immediately.

  • Verify lot numbers or “best by” dates using the recall notice.

  • Follow the return or disposal instructions provided.

  • Contact our customer service team for questions or to request a refund or exchange.

  • If animals have consumed the affected product and appear unwell, consult a veterinarian and notify us so we can report it appropriately.

Limitations

This recall policy applies only to products purchased directly from Graham Feed or authorized distributors. Refunds or exchanges may depend on following the return or disposal instructions outlined in the recall notice. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
